15 YEAR GUARANTEE

EXTERIOR

Coatings manufactured by Jacobsen Colourplus Ltd are produced in accordance with ISO 9001, Telarc registration #162. Our laboratory is certified to ISO17025:2005, Telarc registration #450.

Jacobsen Colourplus Ltd guarantees that the Ultra Premium paint manufactured and provided by Jacobsens Colourplus will not blister; flake or peel for 15 years. Jacobsen Colourplus Ltd also guarantees against colour fade for 10 years and also chalking if the Diamonshield X system is used.

Westend Painters guarantees the preparation and application of the job and that the coatings have been applied in the best trade practices and as per specification and data sheets.

This guarantee does not cover paint failure caused by any breakdown of previous coatings or substrate, or by mechanical damage.

The paint surface is to be maintained by washing every 12-18 months to remove dirt deposits. Dirt deposits left on the paint surface will encourage the growth of mould and affect the paints performance.

If Jacobsen Colourplus Ultra Premium paint does not perform to our guarantee, Jacobsen Colourplus Ltd and Westend Painters will rectify the affected area.

Ten Year Guarantee & Fifteen Year Guarantee:

Westend Painters Ltd can offer customers a ten or fifteen year guarantee – this is dependent on the paint manufacturer used (Dulux, Wattyl and Jacobsen’s).

The 10 and 15 year guarantee will be offered to customers having the exterior of their homes/building painted. Guarantee can cover the following:

• Windows
• Roof
• Weatherboards/Eaves/ Fascia boards

Guarantee works by Paint Manufacture Company giving Westend Painters Ltd Specifications/ data sheets by which Westend Painters Ltd follow – these are outlined in customer’s quotations. Specifications given are specific for the customers own home/ building not just some random made up specification.

Once work is completed, the paint manufacturer inspects work and gives guarantee which covers the following (conditions apply)

- Paint breakdown peeling, cracking, blister for 10/15 years providing Westend Painters prepare Surfaces as per specification/ data sheets (guaranteed under Workmanship guarantee).
 
- Unknown reasons for breakdown of paint – if at manufacturers fault

- Instructions on how to care for paintwork i.e. water blasting/ soft washing to supplier recommendations.

- Westend Painters Ltd follows the system which the paint manufacturer has outlined, in order to receive the guarantee

- Does not cover breakdown of previous coatings or substrates

A customer’s biggest concern is whether or not the paint company can do the job which is right for YOU the customer! It is not only Westend painters who say so, it is the Paint Manufacturer, which means extra peace of mind knowing it will get done correctly the first time …. What more could you ask for?
